DEVELOPMENT

The SHL Group is an experienced and established property developer with a proven track record of successfully developing the largest housing schemes in each of the growth areas which it is involved in. The Group has earned a reputation for ensuring that all housing schemes undertaken, are completed on time, of high quality and come complete with well-planned infrastructure and environmental friendly landscaping.

The Group also has the distinction of being the only developer in the country to have successfully completed and currently owns and manages the Sungai Long Golf and Country Club, an international 18-hole, Jack Nicklaus signature championship golf and country resort.

CONSTRUCTION

The Construction Division provides all the necessary construction, aluminium fabrication and soil expertise for infrastructural and building projects undertaken by the Group. As a Class 'A' contractor, the Group is able to undertake government projects such as earthworks, marine engineering, building construction and major infrastructure works. With over RM780 million worth of projects completed so far, and RM312 million projects in hand, the SHL Construction Division has a wealth of experience to offer in construction management, procurement, cost control, site management and planning.

MANUFACTURING

The Group owns reputedly the largest and most integrated clay-bricks manufacturing plant in Malaysia. Strategically sited on a 10-acre piece of freehold land in Sepang, the RM66 million fully automated facility has a production capacity of 144 million pieces of clay products, making it the most technologically advanced plant in South-East Asia. The plant can also produce a variety of clay products, ranging from perforated bricks, pavers, clay hollow blocks to roof tiles.

QUARRYING

The Group's quarry operations are strategically located in Kajang to serve the needs of various internal projects as well as to meet the needs of various mega construction projects in the Klang Valley, Sepang, Bangi, Putrajaya and Cyberjaya. The Group has an area of 200 acres of quarry land with reserves amounting to 130 million metric tonnes capable of sustaining over 50 years of operations. With a plant capacity of 750 metric tonnes per hour, the entire operations is expected to evolve into a fully integrated industrial park in due course.

TRADING

The Group is able to procure all the necessary building materials not manufactured within the Group for its various construction activities at the best prices due to its good credit standing within the building materialsindustry. With over 50 years of trading experience and financial strength, Sin Heap Lee Company, the Group's trading arm is able to provide trade financing to member companies within the Group.

SERVICES

The Group is run by a central management committee of experienced Directors and well supported by a team of dynamic and qualified professionals. The nerve centre of management for the Group, Integrated Management Corporation, is well staffed by qualified professionals with vast experience in the engineering, quantity surveying, architecture, geotechnical and accounting fields.
